The latest testimony of IndusFood’s success is reflected with Carrefour announcing successful packaging of popular Indian Basmati Sella 1121 and launching its retail sales recently. This product, packaged in novel transparent bags of 10kg, has been the housewives’ delight in a rather modern market of Erbil. 

Mr. Cedric Perisse, Head of Carrefour, Kurdistan, Iraq and Mr. Mohammad Hameed, Head of Merchandise, Carrefour, in their bid to find various Indian products, managed a deal with, Lekh Raj Narinder Kumar, one of the leading rice millers of India, as they participated in IndusFood 2019.  

To share this news Mr. Cedric, recently met Consul General of India in Erbil, Mr. Chandramouli K. Kern, and expressed his gratitude for encouraging Carrefour, Erbil to participate in IndusFood Edition 2.  

Indeed, they have expressed their consent to attend the 3rd edition of IndusFood to be held in Jan 2020.
